Thank you for choosing noe ai, your personal skin-health tracker and analyzer. This policy explains how we handle information whenever you use the app.
1. Minimal Data Processing & Storage
All information you enter—daily check-ins, lifestyle answers, skin-analysis results, and reports—remains on your device only unless you actively turn on cloud backup. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
1.2 Cloud backups
If you enable sync, the App creates an end-to-end encrypted backup of your data in our secure cloud servers to enable backup and multi-device access only.
All transferred data is encrypted in transit, and our current and future cloud vendors must meet or exceed our security, privacy, and retention requirements, including ISO 27001-certified data centers and regional data-residency controls.
When applicable, you can pause sync and delete the cloud copy at any time through App settings.
1.3 Facial Data
We take facial data processing very seriously. When you choose to analyze a photo, the image is end-to-end encrypted and sent to our trusted third-party vision-model provider for processing.
- • No faceprint, embedding, or biometric data is stored or created.
- • Images are deleted from our servers within 30 minutes of analysis.
- • If we change providers, the new provider will be bound to at least the same privacy, security, and deletion standards.
2. No Account or Registration Required
You are not required to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or contact details to use the App. All features are accessible without registration.
3. Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your devices own security features such as passcodes or biometric authentication. We recommend keeping your device secure and up to date.
4. Third-Party Access
We do not sell your data and we never share it for advertising. Your skin analysis image is sent for processing and temporarily stored by our trusted third-party vision model provider disclosed above.
We may include affiliate links to skincare products within the app. If you choose to tap one, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. These links do not collect or share any personal data from you. Tracking may begin if you visit the retailer’s website, and it is handled according to their own privacy policies.
5. Data Deletion
If you wish to delete your local data, you can do so directly within the App by uninstalling the App from your device. Uninstalling the App will remove all data used by the App.
If cloud sync is enabled, you may request your data to be deleted via App settings. We immediately issue a deletion request to the cloud provider, who must purge all encrypted blobs and immutable snapshots within 24 hours. Dormant cloud backups (where you have not signed in to the App for 12 months) are auto-deleted after a 30-day grace period.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
